Soup and Serve 2013

October 13th, Women Ministries helped prepare stockings for the elderly. Fabric and patterns were available to prepare for sewing and lots of supplies were loaded into bags. We imagined that the stockings would bulge with all these goodies! To top it off, we added a personal note of encouragement and holiday blessings.

The holidays can be full of joy…or loneliness. With this project we were all reminded to remember those who might need to know that someone was thinking of them – that they are not forgotten, that they are loved!  And please pray for those who receive these stockings – that they would know that they are loved by the One who made us all.

Sorting Day – We sort and organize all the donations in preparation for Filling Day. This is a “drop in and stay as long as you like” type of event.
